When should I schedule my newborn session?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Yup. Today.<\/p>\n

As soon as you know I am the professional photographer for you, go ahead and get on my calendar.\u00a0 Schedule it ASAP.\u00a0 Calling me by 34 weeks pregnant is ideal, but definitely call *before* baby arrives.<\/em><\/p>\n

I am a homeschool mom of four and so I have very limited availability. I am not a high-volume, turn-and-burn studio; I take my time with each client, aiming to provide you with the best experience, and amazing photographs of the most important milestones of your young family’s journey.<\/p>\n

It’s important to know that true NEWBORN SESSIONS are actually photographed when baby is about a week old.\u00a0 More on that here: “When We Shoot A Newborn Session<\/a>”<\/p>\n

You might be thinking,\u00a0 “But I have no idea when I’ll go into labor, so how can I book the session?”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Very true. You likely don’t know your baby’s birthdate.\u00a0 And even if you’re sure, that could still be two weeks off!\u00a0 I still want you to call early on when you’re still pregnant.\u00a0 When you get on my calendar, you are holding a place.\u00a0 If you have held your place, then I know, and you know, I will not be turning you away because my calendar is overbooked.\u00a0 If you wait until he is here, it is quite the gamble whether or not I can take your session.<\/p>\n
