THE ANSWER DEPENDS ON THE SESSION TYPE… As a homeschool parent of four, I work best as a low-volume photography business. This means I only take a modest number of sessions per month.<\/p>\n
Generally speaking, it’s best to allow 4 weeks before your desired session time. More, if you want to make sure you get a spot on my calendar.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Newborn sessions require even more careful scheduling. Please schedule newborn sessions 8 weeks prior to your due date.<\/p>\n
Professional headshots are a completely different situation. Two or three days is acceptable if you are scheduling a quick and simple session like this.<\/p>\n

MATERNITY:\u00a0 We shoot the session pretty much any time after 30 weeks. You should reach out to me to schedule your maternity session at least 4 weeks before your maternity session.<\/p>\n
NEWBORN: We shoot the session at 5-10 days old. You should reach out to me to schedule your newborn session while you’re in your 2nd trimester, or at least 4 weeks prior to when baby will arrive.<\/p>\n
Most families won’t ever know an exact future birthdate of their baby. We schedule the session and happily make adjustments when baby comes early or late.<\/p>\n
